does anyone have step by step instructions on replacing a traction tire on MTH 20-2474-1? It looks like you have to remove the whole truck. Thanks, Don

what ever it takes to get the side plates of of the motor chassis assembly then you can easily change the tires ! the side plates are held on by 2 screws per plate!

Alan, the screws are not visible, I assume I'm going to have to take the whole truck out. Which screws do I need to remove to do that. I see a screw in the middle of the truck- is that where I start?

Easy as pie, remove only center screw, hold truck on with finger , gently lift loco off truck with the loco in the upright position,motor worm gear will disengage, remove truck side frames replace tires,10minutes tops , hold truck and push gently into motor shaft and turn to engage , tighten truck screw
With side frames removed it is so easyand you can clean wheels and lube at one time ,
