I am anxious to hear about the Big E. How was the weather up there on Saturday? I cancelled my trip to the Big E because my Mustang is atrocious in snow.

Atlas has F7's coming in O.
MTH, Lionel, Atlas were there representing their cool products.
3rd Rail has the SD7/9's (not at the show)
The show was lightly attended.. Because of the snow. But I had a great time.
Other than the above, I didn't see much new that is to be announced.
Anyone else log on in this?
Good meeting at 2pm at the O-Guage booth.
Great to see Ed Boyle.

A friend and I were all set to go until the snow storm. I ended up plowing at the school district I work at. Sunday was out because of prior commitments.

Was Atlas still showing GE-8Ws preproduction models at booth and any clue to delivery?
Thanks
Yes, they had those preproduction samples there. But there was no comments on Delivery.
The SF unit looked fantastic!
I went the Atlas O booth to see the status of the California Zephyr Observation Dome car. They had the sample and new shipping date is 2nd quarter 2015... The rep in the booth said they were hoping for these to ship out of China in February for what that's worth....
If I hadn't left the camera in the car, I would have taken a photo, but as other's pointed out the parking lots were messy. I stayed the full 8 hours, attended 2 good clinics... Airbrushing and LED lighting, and managed to find all but one item I went there for at good prices.
Did Atlas say anything about their 3 rail O gauge track and switches? Like when it will be available again or if it is already available or problems, etc.? Anything new to report would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Dan, I have had 2 CSX units reserved since these were announced in June 2010 so its possible they could slip in by the 5 year mark June 2015[maybe]
Here are some shots from the Big E for Sunday, January 25. Weather was great crowds nice. Good time seeing fellow OGR Forum members.

Thanks for the reports guys.
A million pictures, but no pictures of O gauge before 1970. Did any of you collectors operators of pre & post war go??????????????????????????????????
I bought some Marx stuff and got a 2018 a friend had in his junk bin today great show well worth it
I take the pictures so others can see just a small segment of what is there.
That looks like it was worth braving the snow. What a great show!
Great pictures I would of loved to attended.

I Have post war and modern , I was there Saturday, saw only a couple of vendors with post way, most was in just poor condition with high prices. the last few years that I have gone there is fewer post war dealers. techman
It was a great show, thanks for posting the pix. I got a wooden reefer and 2 tank cars by Atlas, an MTH S-2 switcher, all at good prices. I also got good advice from Steve at Ross and picked up all I need to start the first loop of track for my new layout.
Don, thanks for posting all the photos. Made me feel like I was there, for a little while anyway! Weather kept me away yesterday, and I slept in this morning so....the pics were a nice taste of the show. Hopefully next year will be a go!

Thanks for the update! I was starting to wonder after it was promised to be delivered about a month ago. It will definitely be worth the wait!!
It was a good show. Sorry I missed the 2pm gathering. I got to the show at 10:20am. And by 1:20pm, I was ready to drive back to Maine. I wanted to pick up a few items in tax free New Hampshire on the way back home. I prefer Sunday over Saturday for the lighter crowds. But the snow on Sat. made Sunday way too crowded for my anti-social self. I'll stick with smaller local shows and the internet for my train fix in the coming years.
Thanks for all the photos, Don.
Great job with the photos, Don! I sure hope you had some time left over to do a bit of shopping for yourself!
I agree with Allan, thanks Don. Haven't been able to go to a train show in years. Thanks Don

Great photos - Great show. Everyone should visit this one at least once - especially if you live on the East Coast. It's like York on steroids...
Thank you for all the gracious comments. What I like about the show is the many, many club layouts. The modeling skills on these modules is informative and you can walk away with many ideas.
And of course, meeting up with OGR forum members is great.
Another Thank You! for the pictures, Don.
Do you (or anyone) know who makes the NS Diesel Shed shown in the last set of pictures?
(This one)
Thx!
Alex
Alex, that is a G layout from CT. One of my club members is a member of that G group. If you would like additional information, I can inquire.
Good pics. I ended up buying some MTH accessories at Trainz and Charles Ro. Pretty decent prices.
New to me was a booth from Miniature Motors demonstrating the Faller Car System, which I found very cool. It's only available for HO now, but they are toying around with developing for O scale as well.
Great pics, Tanks!! Love the snow plow scene. Is it animated?
Hey Don: THANK YOU for all those pictures. Much appreciated.
Paul
It was nice to finally meet Don, EddieM, and the Tank Man. Thanks for posting all of the photos, Don.
It was a treat to also meet Dave from Evans Design. I have talked to him many times in the past and he did the string LED's for our Newport Bridge. We had a good chance to go over a project involving our new Christmas layout. I was also able to pick up a few accessories for the new layout as well.
It was also nice to say hello to Matt Ashba from Lionel and we had a very interesting conversation.
Marty & Dotty and Elizabeth and I headed for an early dinner before going home. The show was pretty much what I expected, very similar to Train Fest in Milwaukee.
