I bought this RY a year or 2 ago.  I wanted to have it painted, but never had confidence enough to do it.  I sent it to Christine @ CJB Custom Painting.  Although I haven't received it yet, she shared some pictures with me recently.  I should receive it next week.  I asked her to also weather it, but she said she hasn't weathered anything...so  I was her guinea pig and she weathered the trucks for me.  I will use weathering powders on the rest.  Christine was great to work with and I will definitely use her services again!  Top notch!

Anyway, will show more pictures when I receive it.  I just wanted to share.

it has the original motor in it , very cogy on the ESU decoder. switched to a Tsunami 2 and turned of the Back EMF function and that tamed it a bit. would love to put a better motor in it but can motors seem to be scarce. the pickup problem is the main problem now , put wipers on the axels but that has not changed it much. have a current keeper coming and we will see if that helps. the trucks have a working suspension with lots of pivot points for the current to flow thru , was hoping the wipers would help.  will keep you posted on my progress.

Thanks, I am definitely interested in the current keeper does for the running abilities.
