RMT Beep?

I've bashed a lot of BEEPS - I just love 'em - I think I have about fifteen still,   but only two unmodified: it's kinda hard to resist playing with them some.  This is the most drastic bash.  All new body and a Shay mechanism off to the size that works - crankshaft turns, pistons and valves actuate, etc.  This Shay BEEP is called a SHEEP . . . .     Its not a Baaaaahhhhd locomotive either.

My favorite though is this little Veranda turbine, which I called  Porch Turbine, since a porch is really just a small veranda.  This Porch Turbine BEEP is a PEEP!

Maybe not a burp but a blob?

I still love that Porch Turbine. I remember seeing that when it was first built. Nice work, Lee. 

Has anyone removed the shell of the Bang and Beep and if so any pics?  I love looking at the drivetrain on toy trains...

Okay, how does that tender "truck-and-a-half" even work?

It's fixed: a three axle truck just disguised to look like that.  The middle axle can slide side to size about 1/8 inch so it can go around tight curves.

hello guys and gals..............

I have a RMT Beep and looks kind of BIG in size as I think it is in "O" scale or is it in semi-scale ? The second Beep I got from Walter (replacement one) and its a wonderful little engine !!!!!  My 3 cats watch it go around the tiny layout ,their eyes are glued to the Beep and they sometimes jump on the layout to stiff it while its moving and stare at it.
