RMT is an often overlooked train importer but I do believe that their trains are made in the exact same factories, providing comparable quality, using the same materials, production techniques and labor as the major importers.

As a small company, it appears that Walt is doing his best to keep prices competitive and the line as broad as possible. When you see $ 89.95 MSRP boxcars and caboose's from the major guys, RMT may offer an attractive alternative.

David, I think you can be sure those days are not coming back. I don't think RMT would be in business very long selling at those prices!
