Road Champs #6423 1:43 scale diecast 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck (issued in 1996)
This 1:43 scale diecast vehicle is a neat model that could be used with O scale model railroads. It is a close replica of the classic 1956 Ford pick-up truck. The model has "rubber" tires, opening doors and movable tail gate, rear hitch and a detailed interior. The model has black plastic bumpers front and rear.
Note: This Road Champs model has been issued in various colors and versions.

The 1956 F-100 is a one-year only body style. The 1956 F-100 is easily identified as it has vertical windshield pillars and a wrap around windshield as opposed to the sloped pillars and angled windshield of the 1953-55. The 1956 model also offered a larger wrap-around back window as an option.
The model as shown has been modified by removing the rear "hitch".
