When five grandchildren deliriously descended on the Youngstown & Southern Railroad a few weeks back, all I could do was make sure I had a hefty gin and tonic inside me to buffer the pain of their pleasure. And what FUN they had. Me too. And I have all winter to fix what needs fixing, and to remember with happiness their squeals of delight.

Fen checking out the daily mixed, about to become REALLY mixed.

Boy, If you lived close I'd know who to give that bottle of gin in my cabinet. Don't know where it came from, but there it sits, an sits and sits. I go buy once in awhile and look to see if somehow it switched to a single malt scotch. Oh well, guess I'll keep looking in on it. Hey, but then if I run out of scotch and my new grandson, now 6 m, hits the 5 yrs. I might have to break it out.

It is nice to have a small one again and try to get him to like trains.
