I use the 55KV model and the grass fibers really shoot out of the applicator like crazy. A fine machie!
I just want to share my first attempts with the RTS 55KV device.

That grass looks great! An endorsement for that machine! JohnA
Sarah,
That's awesome. Where did you get it? How about a video of it in action?
It's a German product but they ship internationally. It comes with a 9V battery - no cable needed. Rumors are out there about Scenic Express might bring it out in the US.
As far as I know it's the strongest applicator commercially available so far. Youappreciate the high power when working with long fibers. I used 6mm but will buy even longer grass to simulate dried vegetation from last year.
Pretty much outta my ballpark at $365.
Nice landscaping Sarah, looks real.

Sarah, excellent job with the scenery applicator. And also, congratulations on being published in the O Scale Resource recently. Another job well done.

Stunning Sarah, stunning!
I know it works fabulously. At $365, the hair on MY head stood on end - and I was just reading about it.

You are absolutely right, it's expensive. But it's on the other hand a professional tool. You have to decide what's important for you and buy a milling machine, an arbor press or a static grass application system. I am going to have a big layout and the investment certainly is going to pay off in the long term for me. That's why I chose the biggest voltage, also. You can achieve very good results with the more cheap applicators but I found the Greenkeeper much more easy to use because it instantly applies the fibres upright and in a strong way, too. I have seen the cheaper NOCH applicator in action and it's a fine tool, too. You just have to be more caring and patient with the set out.
It's the same with everything. Only you can decide.
Why in the world would somebody make a workshop diorama and take pictures of it outside? ......
Looks amazing Sarah!
I've made a little video about the process of making the module:
Sarah,
Amazing video. Everything looks so real. The transition areas blend just like they do our 1:1 world.
Excellent.
Tom
Sarah that looks fantastic.
Where can you buy it?
Fantastic
Wrks a whole lot better than mine, and it has a 9 volt battery, I have a brand name one but can't remember the name. Pretty much worthless, wonder if i hook it up to a DC transformer ?
Nice Video Sarah. You do beautiful work!!
Time to dust off that Tesla coil project.
P.S. -- Amazing work, Sarah.
A quick check. Available static flock-ers marketed via Scenic Express 10 to 15 Kvolts.
