Skip Natoli's article in the December 2017 issue of O Gauge Railroading magazine has garnered a lot of interest beyond this forum and the hobby.

Consequently I'm posting this article reprint here for everyone to enjoy.

I encourage everyone to go look at Trainworx other threads about this layout over the past 6 months.  They show the making of and a bunch more pictures of it afterwards, including a total shot of it from a distance.  It is truly a striking, beautiful layout and I have no doubt many other like it will be sold.  It definitely sells itself.

I beleive oh boy I really beleive.A big locomotive comes down the street like that. You better beleive.I just wish they would make a part 2.This is the one movie that shocked me.My mother has this movie. While walking through the house I noticed her watching the movie. So I said"You watching the polar express but I thought you did not like trains. She looked at me and said"I never said I did not like trains!"I was just in shock.I think I stood there for a few minutes.Rich great cover page the scale poplar express looks so cool!!

What a treat!!! Great article! Great Magazine! Thank you for sharing this article in this format You've inspired me to dedicate an entire section on my blog to the making of Skip's Polar Express Layout...I'll get to work on that right away and then I'll have to create a "Natoli Part II" for the first custom layout we delivered last spring Such a treat to be part of this Traintastic Hobby. Thank you Skip and Thank YOU OGR Magazine/Forum and our dear friends at Lionel who really knocked it out of the roundhouse with their Polar Express Train - ALL ABOARD!

Have an excellent weekend trainiac friends and if I may say so... being from Texas and all **Go Astros**

The blog sounds like a great idea, Dorcie!

I'll root for the Astros too!  I'm glad they moved to the American League.  That was one less good team beating up on my Pirates in the standings!

Followed through and posted on my blog focusing on this OGR article... check it out here: OGR Magazine December Cover Issue
