New video of my HO Scale Metra train, this time with 8 coaches and running it in push mode last week Saturday.  Since my first video, I've since added the RTA predecessor coach into the mix, which are placed in the middle section.  I'll probably get one more current livery coach and so that I can have 3 current - 3 predecessor - 3 current as the consist.

I enjoyed Source Code.  It was a fun sci-fi/action movie.

Not related to the video, does anyone know if they ever mixed cars from the various lines on a regular basis? I was told long ago the Burlington Line cars were actually owned by the railroad.  And the Milwaukee West cars stayed on their route, C&NW the same.

Agreed, it was/is a good movie.  I didn't really pay attention to the details the first time I watched the movie, but this time around I noticed that the "Metra" livery was not used, instead it was called "Chicago Commuter Rail".  Just like with "AmRoad" in the Silver Streak flick with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder.

That's a good question.  Hopefully one of the Chicagoland area OGR members like @trainnerd can chime in.

Running my complete full length 9-coach Metra train in Push Mode at the East Coast HO Exhibitor Society (ECHOES) model train club modular layout display last weekend at a Train Show that was being held by the South Florida Railway Museum (SFRM). I’m a member of both clubs, btw.

Length of a full loop run on the layout I believe was around 300 plus feet in length.  Now that I have all the coaches that I want (6 current livery cars and 3 predecessor cars - Rock Island, RTA, Chicago & Northwestern), I will now turn my effort onto building up my NJ Transit consist.

That's awesome, Kevin!  I'm hoping to have enough time this evening to set-up a quick layout for my new HO scale MTH CSX ES44AC w/PS3 and various boxcars.  Whether I make a video of it is up in the air.  And it definitely isn't going to be 300+ ft in length!

I want that setup in O Gauge so bad...but with a BN Green & White E9 on duty, and without the blue stripe on the sides of the bi-level cars.  The cars and engine are available from MTH...I have an A-A set of BN Hockey stick engines, but the cars are like a zillion dollars when they can be found.  It's almost enough to get me into HO just to have a set of those gallery cars to run.
