Yeah, it actually does lift.  My father used to lift this with ropes and pullies, but me and a friend upgraded this to use a hoist from Home Depot.  This rises up, and then I have a second set of steel cables I can attach it to the ceiling with. This room is nice that it has a 10 foot ceiling. Though it has zero climate control, so not so great in the heat or cold, but I'm in California, so still enough nice days to be out there.

Cathryn,

That's what we like to see -- success with Proto 1! (which is not easy to achieve many times considering how finicky it can be).

Nice layout too, and I like the rigging that suspends it from above.

I did read the forums here a little, and checked all the MTH we have for old batteries. Some had BCRs in them already but some didn't.  So far I haven't found anything that's at least not basically functioning. Partly it's just the quirkiness of these and me not understanding how they work, but I think I've mostly figured that out now. It's okay, I think I don't mind having different ways to control things, it makes for a little variety.
