A really new flatcar just arrived. It is so cool I want one for myself but have been buying to much for my own layout lately.
Please buy this so I don't have to.

I already have a Westinghouse Schnabel. This one is all yours.....
Your only salvation will be if you used 048 max curves on the layout.
I got one for a great deal at York. Spent 2 minutes on the layout... It crashed into every bridge on the layout...

If you remove the transformer load and short couple the ends together will it transverse your layout?
Ron
Sure but then what is the point of having it?. So I sold it on the bay
Already have it, you will just have to buy it.

Once a transformer was delivered the car would be coming back empty that way. That is unless bring one back for repair.

You guys are GREAT.
I forgot about my tunnel.
I will have to run it on my upper level that runs 20x40, 8 feet up around my main layout.
The upper level is in the rear by the crescent window
They operate quite nicely on radially challenged layout once the transformer has been delivered.
You guys really let me down.
You let me sink into despair and I had to buy it for myself.
I will let you know how it fits on my layout.
THANKS,
Mike
Let you down? Think of it as an opportunity to excell.
MTH just did this today (March 1) in their Daily Update.Spotlight. It says it takes O-72 curves. I bought one a while back. It's really cool.
Replace that ugly transformer with a slab of RAPA and you've got yourself a beauty!
I've watched several videos of the Schnabel Flatcar and noticed most of the time they are accompanied by a Kasgro(sp?) caboose that's red. There's also two idler flatcars (one in front and one in back) as well as a boxcar (think also Kasgro).
Thanks Railbear,
I had ordered it from my distributor by the time I saw your post. Sorry!
Ron,
GREAT layout and picture
