Indy was just a good lead off to the fall modeling season, but the venue was quite high priced from what I have heard, and really probably a bit "over the top" for a train show venue.  Places like where the NMRA CID show was in Noblesville on the northwest side of Indy would probably be a better venue(it has tables and chairs in house), its very clean and modern by fair ground standards.  Plenty of space, lots of nearby hotels and other attractions to enjoy while in town for the show.  Wishing the best to those trying to save the meet.  I will be attending if the show goes on.

Have you been there yourself?  Any obstacles that O or S scalers for find undesirable?

Brad

Yes, I have been to the location in Noblesville many times(both as a patron and with a G scale live steam group and our portable layout),  I live in Kokomo just to the north.  I have family on that side of Indianapolis and friends that live in Noblesville.  I do not foresee any issues with that location and venue.  Loads of parking on asphalt(no gravel for our older folks that might have issues getting around), no stairs, everything at that location is handicap accessable.  Its modern, clean, good heat and AC and easily accessable right off state road 37.   Defintatly a location I would be exploring for the O scale meet if I was organizing one.

Something we might be able to consider.  How about Hotels and Restaurants?

Plenty around that whole area, along with about any kind of food, sports bars, a golfing thing called Top Golf for those that like to drive golf balls.  That whole area is highly developed, its not in the middle of nowhere.  That whole area is very developed and very nice.  One of the nicest areas of Indianapolis is the whole Noblesville/Fishers are, along with Zionsville.
