I own the gantry crane with the clamshell bucket but am not able to get to where it's stored for a few weeks. I'm thinking of a possible use for it on the layout I am planning but need to know how high off the ground the magnet or bucket is able to be raised at the highest point.
If anyone who has one and operates it would raise the magnet or bucket to the highest point possible and measure the distance above ground level I would be very appreciative of the help.

I laughed when I saw this, I have one with the magnet and it's also buried in a big pile of boxes.

Thanks so much for taking the time to measure and post a picture! What I want to do is use the crane to unload a barge full of coal by dumping the coal into a coal bunker which can load hoppers underneath via gravity. I wanted to make sure I have enough clearance to get the coal into the bunker. This should be workable.
