hello guys and gals........
I use Red N Tacky on my Sunset 3rd brass large steamer, still going strong for 3 years and smooth runner since purchased in 2012

Charlie,
O-K Fine, on planet earth......The last time I checked. I've been using, Lucas' Red-N-Tacky for more than thirty-years. I've also been using their, Gun Oil on all applications calling for lite weight oil. You will find more users of Lucas Petroleum Products on the forum than most other brands.
I use regular old lithium grease
Labelle 106
I use both Label 106 and Red and Tacky, depending on if bearings or gears.
Hot sauce or reel butter.
Sound weird but reel lub is real good.
AG.
Red N tacky
Red N Tackey. Labelles 102.
Labelle 106 as well.
your choice should be a synthetic grease that won't harm plastic etc. Lucas Red n Tacky is my choice, but any synthetic is good.
I use Hob-E-Lube Moly Grease. It's worked really well in that it smooths out jerky locomotives I've had and lowered starting speeds on some.
I use White Lithium grease and LaBelle's 106 with Teflon. However, I do not mix the two.
Charlie,
I use R&T and 106 at different times and very little, they both last a long long time.

LaBelle white grease, and gear lube...gets the job done just fine !
