Several reasons why I REALLY like Nassau Hobby!

I've dealt with them on a few occasions.

 

Good folks and great service can't be beat.

Fast shipping! I ordered a locomotive on Wednesday and it showed up in the Boston area the next afternoon. That's Acela speed!

Big plus is there continuing support of the OGR Forum that is good for all of us.

Not mentioned yet is that Nassau Hobby is also the only hobby store that I am aware of that has a "30 day money back guarantee" and specifically states it in its advertising. More important than the guarantee itself is the people who will stand behind it. Charlie, Chris and company do this. I have never had a problem returning anything. This is a stark contrast to many on the forum who have had problems returning or getting refund from other hobby shops. 

 

Nassau Hobby has also never let me down on my pre-orders, has a great selection, good prices, great service, and are certfiied to make repairs. You don't need anything else when dealing with a  hobby shop. 

 

Nassau Hobby is the best and my go to hobby shop. Been dealing with then for almost 9 years.

Visited Nassau Hobby yesterday.  Great experience.  Was able to look through their Lionel offerings.  Found a tank car that I just had to have.

Awesome local hobby store, great selection.  Really cool layout in store window, lot of action.  Will definitely return for another visit.

I have bought from Nassau since my local LHS closed "Collectible Trains & Toys" always had great service...

During the "SALE" they held my purchase until I returned from my trip. Great folk to do business with.

I just started to use Charlie.  What pulled my money away from Ro (buy s gauge Lionel and MTH) is the wonderful updates and information we get from him on here! 

The only down fall that there WAS, the website, but that has been remedied.

Nevermind the other guys on the island. Nassau Hobby is the place to go.

I have had good experiences with a number of the vendors that support OGR. As long as they are all good to do business with it's good for the Hobby as a whole.

 

LHS's like ours in Valparaiso Indiana which was around for many years closed last month and it leaves a void. It was a great place to go to pick up supplies chit chat with others and overall nice place to visit.

 

Sadly in the last ten years almost all the places I used to frequent are gone.

I agree.  They are very helpful. I have purchased from them online and in store. All experiences were great.
