Chauvi, thank you for sharing these, great photos of some great old tinplate!

Was this a show of exclusively Marklin, or was there a mixture of manufacturers?  I ask because I have the same overhead pedestrian bridge and I have not known whether it is Marklin or Bing.  I am wondering if your pictures mean it is Marklin for sure?

Thank you

Hello and thankyou for posting those pictures.  I just love seeing European tinplate.  The colours, lithograph and tin pressings seem to have so much more character than North American tinplate trains.  I don't get to see many of these trains here in Ontario, Canada. I would love to see more pictures if you have them.. Thanks again,  Walter (Wayne)

If your Bridge was a Bing, it would have an embossed mark somewhere.

Thank you Peter.

Terrific photos, not easy to do when it is all behind glass!  Thank you for posting these!

Thanks for all your work in posting these.  This is really quite a collection.  I really like the large, two-portal tunnel and the erector set bridges.

Yes, this is an amazing collection and as I mentioned before I never did expect to see those things in real which I only know from  Books and catalogs.

Part 9

I know some photographs could have been better - BUT:
I was equipped /w a cheap camera, an angry wife, which wanted to go shopping instead looking at boring trains and a 3 yrs old Rottweiler which I had to keep away from licking on the glass of the show cases.

If anyone wants larger picures for printing, I will be happy to mail them.
(size i1200 x 900)
Also if you want to copy these picture for what purpose ever, feel free and do so-
I don´t insist in any copyright.

Peter
