Tried to order the set and according to Charles Ro, Lionel cancelled it. Bummer.

Had the "shark" set (paid in full) on order, would have enjoyed the operating boxcar, this is most unfortunate. But, the new catalog has the "Area 51" and "Star Trek" LC sets. To ease the pain, I shall order one of each, enjoy your trains.

I am considering the "Star Trek" LC set as well.

i even pictured it on my temporary floor layout combined with my hot wheels set
bummer
anyway the area 51 set is probably gonna more better as a set
man i had plans for that thing
i got the 2019 vol 2 catalog and its gonna be kinda awkward seeing it in there and knowing it'll never be real
