Ok, ok, ok.... So, what does the most iconic structure on the New Haven Railroad and York have in common???? See, this is the Shhhh part. Hanging around Chief Traingineer Farkash and TW TrainWorx East Coast Director, Reagan  - I know something that YOU need to know or better yet - YOU can help make happen!

Whoops - lost my train of thought (pun intended) the answer to the question is the New Haven Signal Tower and I'm thinking that it would make a Traintastic Kit to introduce at 2018 Fall YORK. Thing is, TW TrainWorx is slammed with custom layouts right now and the last thing I need to do is heap on to Farkash & Reagan's list of things to do. So....shhhhh this is between YOU and me right now and  I'd appreciate feedback from YOU as to potential New Haven Signal Tower Kit buyers and not just in O Gauge but HO too - - - - - OH MY!!!!

When I was posting process photos of a layout that included our New Haven Signal Tower model, I received a ton of feedback - to make this custom Signal Tower into a kit and I'm thinking the only way I'll be able to convince Farkash & Reagan to add this new product to their jam packed schedules is if I can share with them all of YOU that not only think it's a GREAT IDEA but would have a desire to purchase the kit (of course at a GREAT PRICE) but I get ahead of myself now.

Q. Do you want me to get the New Haven Signal Tower Kit ready for product introduction by 2018 Fall York?

This is what the finished New Haven Signal Tower looked like on a custom layout we installed earlier in the summer (O scale):

I'll make this easy breezy - all you have to do is reply YES if you want me to really mess up Farkash's and Reagan's calendar and have them produce a New Haven Signal Tower Kit by 2018 Fall York We've never done this before...maybe even take pre-orders at a CRAZY *Steal-of-a-Deal price. Shhhhh.... here comes Farkash.....

Happy Tracks!

I will purchase one or two, depending on price. This is great timing, as I am about to build a structure to put into the last unfinished corner of my layout. A New Haven tower will be perfect! Here is a photo of SS71 on the New Haven Railroad mainline at Devon - eleven miles west of New Haven - still in use.

make that a yes!! also you need to ask roger and mike to make a modern large deseil engine shop kit with your nice deseil platforms inside. you have made a few on coustomers layouts and they look great. just need them in a kit or rebuilt versions for sale. that is if you don't already sell them. I love the walthers one in h.o. I would love to see it in oscale it would go so great with millhouse rivers modern transfer table. just saying. I know roger would do it right. thanks traindame.

Joe, I believe its the one at Ashford Junction near Ellicottville. There are 3 more standing.

This train is coming from Rochester. In the beginning of the video you can see the line from Buffalo off to the left.

Back in the day passenger trains from Rochester and Buffalo would meet in Salamanca about ten miles south of this junction and the cars from Rochester would couple to the Buffalo train to continue on south to Pittsburgh.

219 to 242 and head east a few miles. 242 runs right next to it.

It's a beautiful choice but my favorite accent was ommited with the missing "mentos" windows; still beautiful

This is probably laser cut MDF so it wouldn't be hard to add these. Please note Dorcie.

I love those "mentos" too but in making kits for "all" I know a big consideration is time & money & ease to put the kits together. So, yes we could add the windows but that takes time to redesign which adds cost to the kit and the reality it is... Roger and Mike don't have the time and I guarantee majority don't want to pay... "more". So.... no mentos this go round.

Loving the feedback, keep it coming - thanks gents!

P.S. I was able to get the base dimension of our New Haven Signal Tower Kit should it "become one"  4-1/2" Wide x 9-3/8" Long. No doubt, the roof hangs out further but more than enough to clear all YOUR trains!
