It's our little rail kingdom......we put down what 'we' like. Miles and miles of ballast might be okay in the real world....but interesting? So we make it interesting, something what looks good to us, isn't that what it's all about?

Yes, please note that the rails are not even remotely "red" nor "rusty" colored.

Track color varies, and color can be used as an eye draw to get a viewer to focus were the artist wishes them to. I.e. nobody's approach is flat out wrong, there'sjust a difference how things are bee8ng approached.
