The link WAS NOT WORKING LAST NIGHT WHEN I TRIED IT.
No illuminated nice looking O scale streetlights have ever been mass produced,in my opinion,so I made my own custom ones. The streetlight in the above post from Bogart is pretty good actually.I wonder if that is from MTH.The long gone(I assume)Semaphore Locomotive Works made the brass fixture from my design and I added the decorative top and then painted it.Any O scale manufacturers reading this post will hopefully realize there is a demand for a good looking O scale illuminated streetlight.

Dan:
Your custom street lights are beautiful. You should start a cottage industry and sell them. There is a market for "affordable" street lights.
I have used the Lionel gooseneck street lights that are die-cast and also really look good.

Thanks for the compliment. I just saw your refinery on the scenery and structures section of the forum. That is breathtaking. It must really be impressive to see it in person. Keep up the good work.
Mike
Very nice capture of a late night. The old style bobber and the passenger car behind it with the B&W silhouettes look very cool. Your fence also is looking good. Thanks for sharing.

Mike you are very welcome.
Alan Graziano from the fourm made my Oil Refinery and many more items for our layout. His work is OUTSTANDING and he takes GREAT Pride in all his projects.
I Found one!!
I'm playing with the lights on a PS2 board. I want step and ground effect lighting as well as all the regulars. I put them on the front trucks and the rear steps for now to see how they shine.
I hope this pic fits in Bill! Not on par with the rest......yet.
Joe your picture fits just fine. We are all learning stuff from seeing what others are doing. Probably 99% of the pictures on the OGR are day light pgotos. So I thought the night pictures would offer us a different look at things. I do really like the night pictures a lot.Joe thanks for sharing your experiment with us.
Found this one among my collection of photos.I snapped this one about 2 1/2 years ago as we were closing down the building late one Saturday evening.
We had just turned off the lights.
Here's the shot using a flash.
Matt very cool pictures. Thanks for sharing with us.
Did you have any luck in your search in Tx? Hope you did.
I have seen many great night pictures. Great
work to all. I just posted these building pictures to show how you can
add even more interest to your buildings by blocking out some of the windows
with black paper. the randomness of the lighted windows add to the overall
look with little work.
There is something special about these pics when their shot in low light or dark. It adds to the realism. Even if it's just a loco headlight shining down the tracks. Great posts.
Joe you are right, I have REALLY ENJOYED all the GREAT pictures people have posted on this thread. It would make a great picture story for the OGR MAG!!!
Tackindy, Very nice video. You do have lots of nice lights. I love a layout with LOTS OF LIGHTS. Thanks for sharing with us.
Pops, just because it gets dark you don't have to lay down.
When posting a "Thank you" reply in threads like this, please DO NOT USE the "Reply With Quote" button to do so! You end up re-posting all the pictures that the original poster uploaded. There is no need to do that.
Just use the "POST REPLY" button at the bottom of the thread to post your replies. Nothing gets quoted when you use that button.
