I bought one of the Sinclair gas station that Alex built (see the thread here: https://ogrforum.com/d...3459909582317/page/1

It is very nice.  Very detailed, nicely finished.  I am thrilled with it.  I really like the idea of having things that were made/assembled by someone.  In this case Alex built it from scratch.  I wish I had that much talent.

As you can see form the pictures, I did a copuple of things - first, I have been lazy, so it is not yet powered up (there is a light in the service bay and a light in the office).  No doubt it would look very nice - but I am not sure a picture would allow you to see the 'lighting at work' anyhow.  So trust me, the lights work well.  Also, I removed one of the garage doors - so Batman could pull out.  I think he had a bill for $275 (needed a rear shock).  Somehow Bubba eatin' chicken ended up in a picture.  He was watching what was going down.

I just realized one of the pics shows my hat trick of stuff I have acquired from forum members - gas station (Alex), the bat mobile (Chris Lonero) and the Bubba eating fried chicken (Hugh Laubis).

Alex has hit a home run with this one.  I can't wait to get something else built in the future.

If anyone is looking for scratch built items, I suggest you contact Alex.  He really does a top notch job.

Final item - he packed the item so well that if you are ever moving and are packing china, I bet Alex has some good bubble wrap tips!

Enjoy the pics.

Good morning John, I thank you so much for this beautiful thread you posted.

Your words mean so much to me, you are a good man. I'm glad you like the service station and I hope you enjoy it for many many years. I love the Batmoblie, and I see

Bubba is eating pretty good. I wanted to let you know you can take the garage door

that you removed, and wedge it up into the top of the opening so it will look the door is opened. Also the bottom base come's off for easy access to the inside.

Thanks so much again, Alex

I highly recommend Alex's work. Communication during the build, packaging, and gas station's fit and finish was top notch.

Thank you very much Alex!
