Skip is Mister Christmas

I went to Skips two years ago with a box of cannoli's to get the walking tour of his layout....Holy Toledo.. 19, yes 19, Dept 56  buildings 4 trains ona 5x9 layout. Definitely an inspiration .

Skip does an awesome job on his Christmas layout and did a great job on the article in this months OGR. 

The article was very well written, it captures both the Christmas tradition of his family and interchange that with Christmas in New York City.
I recall reading in a forum post that Skip did, that the layout was going to be bigger.  He may have to now!

One of the very best Christmas layouts out there. Glad to see Skip get this recognition.

I've been holding off opening the Christmas magazine until I have enough time to really enjoy it. If I remember right; Skip built a magnificent City scape Christmas layout spanning a large picture window. The illumination is impressive and inspiring. I'll be distracted all day with anticipation until I check it out later tonight.

I have squirreled away the current issue of OGR to read on my upcoming trip to sunny Italy. Perhaps I can read the story by Natoli in Napoli? 

So I walk up to the MTH Booth at York and Rich Melvin calls me Mr. Christmas!!!  How good is that 

I'd say that was the ultimate compliment, Skip.
