Over the past year or so I have converted an MTH PS-1, a MTH PS-2 (with a blown control) and a Lionel conventional steam engine to TMCC using either TSA or EER Cruise equipment. Each case involved a different approach to wiring up the smoke unit/fan since all three were different. In two instances, I powered up the fan motor, simply by building a small 5 Volt DC supply (driven off the EER smoke circuit) using a small bridge rectifier, 5 volt DC regulator and a capacitor. In reviewing some other posts, however, I get the impression that the 5 volt fan may actually be able to be driven from a connection to the RL2C board.
Question: Am I interpreting the connection to the RL2C correctly
If so, where do I make the connection?
