Nice looking, John - love the Starlite !
Looks great, John. You know I like the night life!
Outstanding John! Always thought that it appears to be two different layouts between daylight and running at night with just the layout lights.
Nice John, but where is the snow ?
Pat, I hear Lakewood has first dibs on the Lake Erie stuff. Lake Ontario's is east of us tonight. They're looking at a foot or better by morning. I have a foot in reserve on the roof, so I don't need any for the layout.
Gilly, I think you're mistaken. Isn't that a picture of the submarine races we used to frequent?
Gilly, I find that picture quality vastly improves when thumb is removed from camera lens. Ask me how I know this.
Here's a couple of nighttime shots of mine with thumb safely tucked away.

I think mine meets the criteria of the title of the thread: night RUNNING
It's one of several that I can contribute. Since I change my Christmas layout design each year the paths are unique, but in a way, merely repetitive of this one.

There's something about turning the room lights off and turning interior building lights, tower lights and watching the engines, cabooses, and passenger cars illuminations that turn a model railroad into a believable life like railroad.
Great pics everyone, you all captured the essence of night operation.
