I was on my way from Munising to Iron Mountain Mi. in the da UP eh... and drove by this gem sitting in the shade.

Of course the wife was driving and when I yelled out "lets stop" the accelerator was quickly depressed closer to the floor as a chorus sang out from my children (echoing my wife) from the back of my mini-van saying NOOOOOO!!!

I sadly had to catch a glimpse of this as we drove by at light speed as my nose was pressed against the glass...

So due to this tragic event I was not able to take any pictures of it as it disappeared into the rear view mirror... Anyone have the story on this one and how it escaped the torch? Is it just another display piece rusting in the harsh Michigan winters of the UP? Whom ever restored it for a static display appears to have done a good job.
