Scratch?
A box of coffee stir sticks, strips of thin cloth and you have a door that can roll under a ceilng, like a rolltop desk, or roll up like a windowshade.
These slat doors are pretty simple to throw together.
Popsicle sticks would work for the ceiling type too.
Styrene guides wouldn't be too hard. Or slats of styrene vs wood sticks for a smoother look.
Operation. By crank &/or pully, &/or motor? Or finger. They tend to work well enough if plumb and square it should be considered. Taller than wide a plus imo.
Grandt Line and Tichy. If you have a lot of windows in those buildings Grandt Line sold me some loose, on the sprue. One or the other has rollup doors, too, Check their web sites. I have not looked lately but presume they have a pictured list on there.
Tichy train group and Rusty stumps come to mind. As for the roll up door, You will probably need to scratch build. You might want check out the scenery source list for a more thorough list of suppliers.
Just google it.

Yes, I generally get them loose on the sprue when I'm buying by the 100

Roll up doors can be made operational in HO

Are you looking for stationary or working roll up doors?
Stationary is easy - corrugated metal sheets (Plastic like Plastruct PS-24 over 20 or 40 mil sheet plastic for strength. Some people add tubing above the door to look like a roll up mechanism.
Working doors are more difficult since you need to build the frame work. Because the doors have to bend you would laminate the PS-24 over 10 mil plastic. The concept is the same as wood louver doors with fabric backing for desks. The framework needs to be scratch built. The best way is a jig. I built a few w/o a jig but it was not easy. For the next job that comes up I am making a jig based on a design I found on you tube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gigL_L9T_k4
The author BNSF6951 has since replaced some of the plastic with wood which is what I will do. I just found 'Vinny' on Youtube. He is very good and it looks like he is in the Phoenix area near me.

Anyone else have issues with that video playing? It crashes when I play it or my security doesn't like it?
