Just as an FYI for another source here, the RC car manufacturers have a lot of hard to find little screws on their websites, most are also metric. My grandson got an RC4WD truck kit last winter and we have gotten all kinds of replacement screws for it. They seem to lose a different screw on about every run.  Their site is rc4wd.com, but there are others as well as some of the large RC hobby shops.

Part#93070A061 on MCmaster Carr should work. qty 50 for $9. Maybe confirm it but Mcmaster has just about everthing

It doesn't appear to have the shoulder that the proper bolt has.

part # 1a.0000277  1.5x6m oversized shank

Thank you very much.  MTH is trying to find one,  Any out there?

Well, I have one, but it's on my Gallopin' Goose!

Sorry to have not replied.  Been out of town sweating in San Antonio for a week.

Allen, thank you for the pdf,  how in the world do you survive the Southern Texas  Heat????

Guys, thank you for the other information.

GRJ,  at least you know where to get one of these bolts in a pinch.

Debbie and Debbie both returned my  call and are sending me several #52 bolts to get the goose waddling and a few to spare.  I have at least two of  most everything.

These ladies have bailed me out of several problems over the years.

Thank you, MTH!!

Hi Tom,

I've been in Austin since 1989, so the increase in temp has been gradual over the last 29 years, so I'm used to it.  Oh, and AC helps a lot!

For you Goose owners, not meaning to hijack the thread, do you find that your front end is just too light?  I really like the way they look and so my first foray back into the hobby was the 30-2203-1.  I run it on an oval with a figure 8 crossing on the center and the front end likes to pop off on the switches and sometimes on the 90d crossing, but mostly on the switches.  I have one switch that it'll pop off no matter the speed in a specific direction and I'm hesitant to open it up but I think some weight on the nose will help.
