Hi All,

Happy holidays. I have a question.  I have Barry's DCS 2nd edition and was possibly

trying to find were it may explain how to use one MTH power brick and power the fixed 1 and 2.

Is this possible? Basically, I have all my track power connected to an MTH terminal block

which is were my fixed one output is going, then another terminal block with my switch tracks

and accessory wiring for my AIU however; I was trying to not use a 2nd power brick for the fixed 2 ports.

Thanks -Trackahead

As John  pointed out, it works just fine and as an added bonus you end up with 2 dcs signal generators working instead of 1. This is a great  way to improve the dcs signal. you could  jumper  all 4 channels  (var set to fixed) if needed. Don't forget the center rail insulated joing separating the 2 channels and blocks with in each channel)

Hello Gregg,

If I may recap here. As is now. I have a 24 port Terminal block which all my

track power is wired to. I then use TIU fixed 1 to power this. I then set up another

terminal block which I am currently wiring my switch tracks to for the AIU and the power for my accessories.  The intention here was then power this terminal block

with another brick and use the TIU's Fixed 2 ports however I wanted to do this process with just one brick and in doing this, not pass the DCS signal travel through were it should not go per Barry. Is the above solutions still ok?

Thank You,
