Can anyone point me to a good source for how to use the Woodland Scenics static grass applicator? I must not be using it correctly because I tried to use it on my layout as well as in a baking pan with the parchment paper. All I did was make a mess which looks nothing like the neat tidy grass tufts I see in the YouTube videos. Ugh

Are you using batteries? If so, I found improvement in my results when I used the extra power supply they sell. Also, I found a nail driven into the area improved current flow over the provided 4 prong base. I did eventually sand the paint off where the clip attaches and the 4 feet. Saw improvement after that, but I find a nail or two works well and are less interference in the drop zone.
