I'm waiting to add stationsounds to my 6-25726 California Zephyr Vista dome car (Part of 6-25722) But should I use the typical SS Diner mother board or should I use a powered MB and radio board? Also I'm going to install GRJs Lighting kit too.

You'll likely want to look for smaller footprint solutions for this task, the SS motherboard is pretty large. I'd consider the RailSounds powered motherboard with the SS Railsounds audio board and the ERR Dummy Loco Controller, it'll be easier to hide those and fit them in.

That's what I'll do, thanks. Just to make sure this is the right board since it looks different from the board on the right @gunrunnerjohn

@gunrunnerjohn would this be a better choice? Lionel part number 691MB0011A

I found those to be too wide and also the boards sitting vertical show in the windows. Of course, when I did a couple of mine, I put the sounds in the baggage car, that solved the problem. However, that board was actually too wide for the MTH Premier passenger cars I was using, so I went a different route.

Ah, I didn't think of that. I'll stick with the method you suggested first.
Lionel used this diesel motherboard in most of its aluminum and heavyweight passenger cars with interiors: 691-PCB1-070.
It's the one used on the system that I e-mailed you about, Matt. It measures about 4.625" long x 1.25" wide x 1.625" tall when the three boards are installed.

I've used those in a couple of SS diners as well, they will work. That's the ones I put in the baggage cars.
