Since we here on OGF have a penchant for creative/repurposed ways to get the job done, I thought I'd run this up the flagpole. Empirical knowledge gained from trying to kill a queen yellow jacket (she was NOT getting away) buzzing around the light bulb in my shed led me to grab whatever spray was at my disposal at the time. Having noted the deep crevices sometime later, I thought this may be worth a **shot**. Note: do not try this in the house! Although I suppose you could.
Anyway, at the moment it's 30 degree in my barn so timing my attempt to create a "shoreline" seems to have been a little late, but that's something you can fiddle with. You may need to do a "burn-in" a couple times. Wash, rinse, repeat as they say
For the record, I don't think this is any more damaging to the environment than the intended use of the brake solvent. No yellow jackets were hurt during the filming.
Good luck, and if any one manages to do this, please post the results. My layout is down for house remodeling.
