Hi everyone on this unique community

I have a railking camelback very nice looking but troublesome .It started to Forget she was on the roster and every time I wanted to run it I would have to go to the add a train drill.I sent the Ps 2 5v for a Checkup and they blamed the board so I put a new ps2 5 v  board and loaded the only sound file from a pacific 4-6-2 I believe this is the closest I could get to a camelback.

Three out of ten times it started up with a quick jolt and immediately went to normal, mmhh.I have a fully charged fresh battery, new batteries in the remote,I calibrated the tack reader distance, but it keeps on doing that jerky start, not only that but if I turn it off for more than 5 min.I have to do the upload drill again.A couple of things to be mentioned when I load it up the remote will assign one number up in the roster meaning that it's a new engine and the second is when I turn on the smoke the ash pan starts to flicker wow it looks very prototypical but it ain't right I think ,no other of my engines do that!

any body that would like to take the challenge ?I will be very much appreciated.

thanks for your help

jorge

There are plenty of Camel Back 5V sound files on MTH web site.  I would use one if not the original one for your engine.  Could be another bad 5V board, bad wiring, pinched wire, etc...

Maybe the battery wire harness is bad, or terminals corroded.  See this often.  That prevents battery from working.  G
