I upgraded these units many moons ago, so this may be irrelevant. But I wanted to capture these units in a better way to show how good these units can look. I think MTH units are decent for the hardcore operator, they sure are reliable and durable. I never run them so I'm selling them little by little, but could keep them and would enjoy them quite a bit.

Impressive upgrades, it appears you did some paint work on the wheels, added scale MU hoses and cables, correctly modified the lift leavers, installed weathered Kadees and possibly crew and maintenance placards to the long hoods. I also have a number of MTH diesels that will eventually get the scale detail treatment. I for one would appreciate a listing of parts you use and information on what work you do to make these locomotives into a scale upgrade.
