Well...am up late still getting ready for my departure for York so thought I might as well start this thread...  Here is a picture I posted elsewhere earlier this week of the roundhouse area I am once again working on.  Got all the tracks where I want them and the roundhouse is painted and ready to be weathered.  Next will be the ground cover.....  Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and please be safe this coming week if you are traveling to York....

I was running my G5 10 wheelers by Lionel yesterday. The unit closest is the Legacy version and the unit on the inside track is the older TMCC version. The Legacy engine is smoother and definitely puts out more smoke. This is the first time I had them side by Side and notice the difference in the Headlights. Did the G5's have both headlight configurations?

Alan nice engine house cant wait to see the finished product and agree everyone have a safe trip to York. (not able to attend as work gets in the way as it does every so often, but is pays the bills and funds the train hobby)

Alan,

That is a nice start the the showcase.

Steve,

Your detailing of these cars is fantastic.

LI Steve,

Nice pictures of the layout.

Alex,

Great job on the grain silos.

AG,

Great job on the spool. It looks like it took a lot of time to build. The detail is outstanding.

Here are a couple of pictures of two 3 stall Korber roundhouses I am constructing. This is my favorite Korber kit to build.

Great looking roundhouse Alan.

Lately I have taken to running my lovely little Premier 2-8-0 on my upper "BEEPWorld" loop, the rule there being nothing longer than a BEEP.  It takes creative interpretation of the rule for it to pass the test (I ignore the front coupler) but it is the best runner on the loop, it has cruise so it chugs along nicely, unlike BEEPS, etc., and the only other steamers than fits the criteria (Lionel 0-4-0 shifter or docksider switcher) which slow going up the hill and jackrabbit going down.  It's pulling a train of traditional cars shortened to meet the rule, too, and a Bobber caboose.
