Good Morning Everyone,

I hope all the forum members that went to York had a good time.

Thank you all for the nice contributions and comments last week.

I completed the last section of the refinery model. It measures about six feet long and would not fit on the table in my model room. I had to use the nine foot pool table for this one.

A while ago I attempted to build a truck stop restaurant  that I remembered I had when I was about 11 or 12 yeas old.     Then by chance or luck  I managed to find the item I was trying to reconstruct  on one of the vintage toy web sites    it had been manufactured by   T  Cohn   while my memory had lapsed  a bit

I think I managed to  reproduce the set up fairly well, in fact this was my first attempt using the  Model builder program I had obtained from Evans DIMG_6004IMG_6005IMG_6006IMG_6007IMG_6008IMG_6009IMG_6010abcdefgesign

Outstanding Alan!  On a much smaller scale proportionately,  but still in O, I picked up the mock-up Andre of River Leaf Models made of the CNJ switchman shanty I'm restoring in Ashley PA, not far from the tower you made recently. I posted the pics on another thread, but I think they bear repeating, and I did use it in a scenic setting on my shelf layout for a photo referencing it's intended use. I included the prototype photo for comparison.

Mighty fine work.

I'm really enjoying being involved in the various scenery chores.  Today, rock castings were alternately made and installed while I fine tuned some painting around this bridge.

Operating some trains at the same time breaks up any monotony that might be encountered

Action happening over at my miniature Horseshoe Curve.
