Good Morning Everyone,
I will start off with a couple of pictures of the AG tower I constructed. It was located in Pennsylvania. Let's see what you have been working on.

Great work everyone !!!!
If you want to take more of the mortar color off of it then wipe it with alcohol on a paper towel/rag.
its a little heavy but not too bad. Let it dry for less time. It’s easier for it to be too light and build it up than it is to overdo it and remove it later.
The mortar on the brick foundation of my under-construction warehouse model (see post above) was done using Woodland Scenics "concrete" paint for the mortar. This paint is just the right consistency. I apply a coat of the concrete to cover the brick, let it dry for about one minute, then gently wipe it off with a paper towel. I also have a dampened paper towel handy to remove any excess concrete color that has remained on the brick. I use "mineral red" for the brick and let it dry for a few days before doing the mortar.

Thanks for the advice - I'll try that.
