Here is a building that I am constructing for the TMB Train Club on Long Island. The finished panel measures 30" across and the unfinished panel is 49" across. both are 16" high. These are the only two panels that will remain visible. After I finish the larger panel I will address LED lighting, then the roof and fascia details and finally assembly. The base is made of Luan, the ground supports are basswood and the panels are foam-board with pine slats, Walther's Brick paper and Tichy windows. The building was kept lightweight as there are several switches under it will remain moveable in case the track crew needs to do any maintenance work. Will post more incoming weeks through placement

This building will be placed on our main line yard and for a good perspective please see the Current edition of the OGR Magazine Run 286 page 43.

I have been laying low for the recent months until my article on our club development was in line for publication and did not want to overlap with what Allen Miller was selecting for the article (Hope you all enjoyed the article)

Steve

Later addition -

Some building flats I have just completed. All use OGR wall parts.

I need to do some touch up mortar work on Saulina's Market. I have tried some different methods applying mortar such as chalk, light weight spackle  and water based paint (diluted and full strength)  and finally settled on Robert's Brick Mortar. I still have some issues with it but Roberts's seems to work the best for me.
