Good Morning Everyone,
I am posting some models I previously constructed.

I'm going to stray a bit from my typical contributions this week to "showcase" someone else's work. Here are a couple shots of a "muck" load that Forum member "Rail" (Don) made for me. I have purchased these loads from Don in the past and they are fantastic; however, these are extra special as they contain more than the usual broken ties, rail, ballast, dirt, weeds, etc. If you look closely you'll notice this load contains broken crossing gate arms & pole, guard rail, pieces of broken-up blacktop pavement, tree limbs, etc., in addition to the usual stuff mentioned above. It looks like the debris left over after a new grade crossing was installed. Outstanding work by Don!
Nice work everyone, Joey, the gondola itself looks great. Nice weathering on it. The load looks cool to. Nothing new from me this week and I fear next week will be the same. Nick T
Great work Alan Nick and David. I've been tied up with work and the business of the club activity. Hope to post some pictures in coming weeks

Great work guys! I've finally freed up some time and have started on a Korber backdrop building so I'll actually have some photos to post soon!
That's a gigantic drill in the middle of the street. Should have construction signs around it
In Australia we have the big pineapple, the big lobster, etc.

America is first with THE BIG DRILL
It's not the strangest thing to appear on my layout by far.
Just finished up on a bunch of building fronts, a maintenance shed and inspection stand. My favorite is the Groves Sink and Shower building. Saulina's Market is a new design. The fronts have 1/2 inch walls and 12 VDC LED light strips. I used vellum for a frosted window effect. The banners are easy to make. I printed the text on cardstock and taped to 40 mil styrene. In some cases I used 40x60 styrene to enclosed the signs. The decals are both both home made (white decal paper) or Cedarleaf Designs (Stan has an alps printer). The banners were attached with super glue. The mortar is Robert's Brick Mortar. I keep trying different application methods but always end up going back to Robert's. I tone the white mortar down a little with india ink / water.
Has anyone tried mixing Robert's with paint or ink?
Joe
