Alan, the tower looks great...and so does your lawn!! Dave, really nice job on that ALCo...and of course your scenery work is outstanding!
I recently started a 3-car re-lettering project. Being a big fan of the high level of detail and overall quality of Lionel's PS-2 two-bay covered hoppers, I got tired of waiting for them to offer a set in my favorite road's livery (Jersey Central, of course!), so I decided to do it myself.
I picked up a 3-car Pennsylvania set for very reasonable $$, and have since started the lettering removal/re-lettering process. One car down, two to go. And yes, all three cars will be weathered at some point.
Dave,
You did a nice job on the engine but my eyes keep wandering to the background.
JoeyA,
Great job on the hoppers. Looks like a picture perfect job.

Good work everyone! Al that vacuum tower is massive. What company made those PS2 hoppers?
Just got back from trip back East and nursing a cold so haven't been in the shop yet. Plan to this week for sure.

Ah! So that's where I caught mine.
Cyber infection.
I hear Cyber infections are anti-biotic resistant... or so I've been told.

I've been using Tru-Color since Floquil is no longer available. It is solvent based, which some do not prefer, but I cannot get the hang of water based stuff. The color is called CN orange which is actually Western Pacific orange. Be careful there is a CN orange /red which is the color on CN engines.
Both of the B&LE S-4s were sold to Youngstown & Northern and kept the Western Pacific orange paint.
Good luck!
Dave
Amazing work guys! Alan, it looks like that vacuum tower is actually operational.
