My son and I split the sum of buying these CB&Q E units, silver and black, on E bay and the purchase was well worth it. These Es are beautiful and other manufacturers can learn something from these. The horizontal drive vs the China drives. But now we have something to pull those Atlas CZ cars. Phew, as I thought we were going to have to wait a long long time for something to come around to pull this train. In 2 rail one has to be prepared so much to grab what one can when it is available as things don't come around a 2nd time. I was playing with my only Atlas SD40 today and thought it would be nice to have more but I haven't seen a rerun since the original release.
Someone out there has a second OMI unit to a UP GE U30C that I was able to buy in a two unit box. So I need to find the sec. unit to fill the box. I bought this some 8 yrs ago from Jerry in Beaumont Calif.
