Assuming this is not air brushed or fabricated, this is quite the shot.  What little I've tried to get sunset or sundown shots, it was always difficult at best and gone before you realized it, waiting for a better shot.  Just beautiful stuff.   I hope NS does at least a couple of calenders with these pictures.  Past calenders were an exclusive in house photo contest, the few I have were always very well done.

This is a good question.  Does anyone have an answer to this question?  I'm sure after several years these paint schemes will start to, at best, look dull and need spruced up.  I wish I could afford at least just one (this PRR one) model of these engines.  What say,Williams by Bachman??

Well, I have laid eyes on the MP Heritage with the 844, and several other units. However these new PRR units and others are a tribute. I don't railfan much at all anymore and when I do it's legally parked with the tripod in the bed of my truck. They are kind of getting tough on the picture takers.

We do have NS engines from time to time come through. I will be on the look out for the PRR unit, but really, doubt; that it will make it into Arkansas.

In model form? Well the B&O set and PRR probably will run over 2K in US dollars, I would wait until it cools off a bit. I would probably need to purchase some UP power as well as not to be railroaded out of the local modular club.

The NS calenders consist of photographs taken and submitted by NS employees.
