Really? What do you want to bet that nothing happens to them? The poor kids, just didn't have anything constructive to keep them or their minds busy. It's all about instant gratification, and nobody is responsible for their own actions.
I’m not conversant with Illinois law but, since the kids are minors, the museum can likely sue the parents and win a judgement.
Whether the parents have the financial resources to cover such a judgement would be the next question.

Hotwater...for once I AGREE with you...in everything you said....the cops caught them the courts will set them free....
At that age you don't always understand the value of something you may ruin.
But at some point most learn about responsibility.

As I understand the article, police followed the blood to a house near by, and then found the boys? That area along the Fox River is dotted with some nice homes, so I’d bet mom and dad have some money. That trolley museum is a nice place, but they sure lack funds to keep up what little they have. I hope they get every dime from the parents.
