Hello all,
I have my tables built and most wiring is done and now what do I do? I have attached a picture of my layout outline and want to know how to start planning a semi prototypical layout. I want to do it in conventional O gauge postwar Lionel with o guage tubular track using postwar ZW TRANSFORMERS I also plan to do some new legacy type on one of the tracks. Would like to base my layout on the West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania coal mining country depicted in the thirties forties and early fifties. I would like to do industrial scenes and yards, train stations with mountains. Where do I start in track design as I have most all of the old postwar Lionel accessories? As this is my first layout I can use all the help you can possibly give me.
