The A&M depot is the site for most of June of "Tail of the City," a rather charming art installation by Junli Song.   Here are some happy snaps from the depot (apologies for quality, these are from my flip phone)...

The theme is the Jazz Age, and big band music plays...

I did something Extremely Clever.  The A&M museum has an old Atwater-Kent radio (nonworking) on display.  I brought it over to the depot, hid the speakers for the music behind it, fired up the MP3 player...and all of my colleagues were convinced I'd gotten the thing working!

All in all, a lovely day for a train excursion!

The installation will be on display at the depot through most of June on weekends.

I cannot believe that an organization like this would not know the difference between the words “tails” (a part of an animal) and “tales” (stories and history.)

Good grief.

The dumbing down of America continues...

Respectfully disagree, Rich. If you note, all of the critters in the pics appear to be foxes and their large deep red tails really stand out - I believe the title was both deliberate and appropriate.
