Hello fellow railroaders and welcome to
TEAM TRACK & TRANSLOAD TUESDAY.

Team tracks and Transload facilities provide the perfect backdrop to exercise a little creative scene making. Anything goes on a Team Track - a boxcar load of explosives, a flat car of new farm equipment, cement being transloaded from covered hoppers to delivery trucks, maintenance of way equipment being stored for the weekend, fresh seafood headed to local restaurants... The possibilities are endless.

Let's see what's being loaded, unloaded, parked, or exhibited on your sidings!!

Thomas - very nice pic of the lone B&LE boxcar on the Everett Team Track!  I remember Randy Harrison's circus cars photo as being in one of the very first few Team Track Tuesday threads back in 2016 .... very nice choice for today's TT&TT thread!

For today I created a new scene and took these photos of MOW activity on Team Track One in Lower Patsburg.  IMG_3221

MOW crews are busy today as they are both loading and unloading equipment from these MOW caboose/ boxcars.IMG_3222

Since school is out, Junior jumped on his bicycle this morning and hurried to the team track to check out all the excitement.  Junior should have put on a clean shirt this morning like his mom told him, but hey, he was in a hurry and just put on the first shirt he saw ... the one with a stain on the back.  IMG_3225

Big spools of electrial wire are loaded onto the box/caboose.  These will be taken far up the main line as crews are laying underground wire to replace the above ground wiring along the main for about 30 miles.  Last winter's blizzards  kept blowing the lines down in that area, disabling the railroad telephone system several times.   After the installation of this new wire there should be no future problems.IMG_3224

Manny, Moe, and Jack wait for Buzzy and Bert, who are both inside the car, to reposition the big spool so the next spool can be rolled on.  IMG_3227

Meanwhile, in the second box/caboose this crew is taking a short breather before unloading another barrel of creosote.  "mmmm ... the wonderful smell of fresh creosote in the morning!" IMG_3229IMG_3235IMG_3168IMG_3188It's busy - ness as usual on Team Track One in Lower Patsburg.
