TTT-top

Patrick's ( Trumptrain ) Team Track Tuesday series was one of my favorite stops on this forum. The weekly photos and stories served as a constant inspiration to get things done on my own railroad. TTT was always a great place to test ideas, think outside the box and work on the backstory behind my railway.

I would like to invite all of you to join me in contributing to this weekly series.

What is a Team Track?

Team Tracks are small siding or spur track for the use of local merchants, manufacturers, farmers, and other small businesses not directly served by a railroad. Because of their versatility, most types of freight cars can be on/offloaded at a team track. Even passenger train head-end equipment and railroad maintenance-of-way might occasionally be found on a team track.

What if I Don't Have a Team Track?

No worries, with just a little imagination, any stretch of track will do just fine. (My team track isn't even attached to my layout.)

1) Create a temporary scene along any stretch of your layout. 2) Take a picture to post here. 3) Clear the track and your railroad is back in action.

You can also just stop in to check out the other team tracks.

What if I don't have fancy scenery?

Every level of railroader is welcome on the Team Track.

Oh no, it's not Tuesday!

The Team Track is open 24/7. If you miss posting on Tuesday, no worries, post your photos on any day of the week!  We'd love to see them!

Great to see TTT back on the weekly rails!!  Thanks for carrying the torch ABBRAIL.  Honored to know that the original TTT thread provided inspiration in the building of your own layout!

Good to see Arnold, RSJB, and Ritchie Cs, nice looking photos!    Here's a blast from the past: " Auto frames being unloaded from double door boxcar and trucked to the Tucker Automobile plant located in greater Patsburg."  I will have to get the creative juices flowing and create some new team track scenes for next week.IMG_3510IMG_3492IMG_3485
