What is a Team Track?
Team Tracks are small siding or spur track for the use of local merchants, manufacturers, farmers, and other small businesses not directly served by a railroad. Because of their versatility, nearly any types of rail car could be on/offloaded at a team track. Even passenger and maintenance-of-way equipment might be found on a team track.
