I will preface with; "this is a quick cell phone video" and no attention is being paid to lighting or the use of a tripod. It's just a quick glance at what we have been up to.

For those that can make it out to the Great Scale Model Train Show next weekend in Timonuim, Maryland, please stop by and say hello.

Looks "Super", detailing can't be compared, period. I love the whistle, once again, what and where did you get that whistle, still sounds that's it's being quilled from a hand held remote of some sort.

I know that you will do another video, of the finished product, would you also add something on your new switch controller as well.....Thanks again Brandy!

Brandy,

That whistle is a pre-recorded whistle and one of many included in the new decoders from TCS. They are called WOW decoders. You don't have to use the pre-recorded sequence, but it it easy for quick video purposes, just click the button and it goes through that sequence you hear. I will include something on the control panel I made from artwork and picture frame.

Reply By Joey_Ricard: Testing out the new layoutThanks Joe, as I did just get off the Train Control System (TCS) web site, and their stuff seems to be very good. Reasonably priced, and able to change what you want in sounds, as well as lighting. Thanks again Joey.........................................Brandy!

Thanks all,

Steve, yes this is a 4 piece modular system with a "connection bridge/3 track yard" in rear out of sight. Each of the 4 mods is 30" x 60" for a total area of 15 x 5. At some point in the future 2 more sections will be place (in place) of the rear bridge and it will become a 6 piece modular walk around island style, but for now only the front is the scenic portion.

Had a great time at the Great Scale Model Train Show in Timonium, MD near Baltimore this past weekend. I did not have a lot of time to shoot photos, but on the facebook page there are a few that we took. Here, I wanted to share one of the few pics that shows the whole layout set up and in one piece.

Again, this is O Scale (Narrow gauge = On30). Built in 4 sections each 30"x60" each, fully portable with 2 bridges in rear that house a 3 track staging yard. I will do a complete write up on this soon and possibly Allan Miller can use it.

The lighting was new at the MD State farigrounds Cow Palace and there were a lot of complaints. It surely is museum like and I will have to bring flood lamps next show.

That is the BOSS and I at the show.

"Possibly use it," my foot! Certainly I would be delighted to use it, my friend! Provided, of course, that a photo of the Boss is also included!  Luv ya, Doreen!

Splendid craftsmanship, Joey, and accomplished at such a high level in such a very short time.
