In the spirit of the upcoming holiday I would like to thank OGR for having this great site.  There  are complaints from time to time but this is a unique and very helpful forum for the O Gauge enthusiast.  Thanks also goes out to the great members of this forum who help anyone with a question or a problem.  I am thankful for the great BUY & SELL FORUM, which give us members a chance to find those hard to find items and allows us to recycle the items we no longer want.  Great benefit.  We are lucky to have this forum  and it is a few times daily stop for me.

To all of my fellow O GAUGERS have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and to those of you on the east coast my families thoughts are with you .  THANK YOU ALL.

I think this is a great place and I have gotten and given help.  Sometimes we forget that this is a fun hobby , it doesn't matter if you have a carpet central or a huge layout, it is the fact we can do what we want without any rules and just have fun.

Thanks to OGR...this is a terrific forum and I am really enjoying the digital archive. Thanks to all the members for all of your advice and expertise. Although we've already had our Thanksgiving here in Canada I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and include a reminder of how trains helped out with Thanksgiving celebrations back in the day!

Have a great Thanksgiving!

A huge thank you to all the folks at OGR and a very Happy Thanksgiving to all the fine folks at OGR and this forum.

The help that I've received here has been terrific.  I am a relative beginner and not the most creative person and my questions reflected that.  I am always amazed at the willingness of what surely are expert modelers to provide me with help.  Without them I know that my DCS and TMCC would still be in the boxes.  My layout would probably not be much more that a plain piece of 4x8 with no scenery details or lights.  I've gained the confidence here to actually build a pretty decent layout (IMO).

The OGR folks have broken one of the golden rules with this forum.  "You get what you pay for" certainly does not apply here.

Thanks to everyone and a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I wish to extend my thanks to OGR as well.  In addition to putting out a great publication (and some great models, books and videos) and making this great forum possible (along with all of the wonderful sponsors), OGR has also made this hobby a much more social one for me, rather than just a limited Christmas tradition, and this forum has allowed me to meet and become friends with some really great people from all over the world.  This forum also is responsible for leading me to York, and the great Thursdays at Fridays parties every York, and the great OGR York tours.  And last, but not least, OGR is responsible for showcasing some awesome modeling and creative talent that spans the entire spectrum of O Gauge Railroading, both in print and on this forum.  And then there is the fun that is the byproduct of all this insanity...

Thanks again, OGR, and a Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I would also like to thank the OGR staff for this great site and of course the magazine.  They are both an extremely valuable part of my O gauge hobby and much appreciated.  The fact that it is free in today's world is absolutely amazing.  It is not 'over regulated' and I believe the guys do a great job of monitoring it just enough.

The second part is the tremendous people on this site and the willingness to help and provide extremely detailed information to help us in our hobby 'frustrations' and enjoyment.  Even the threads I just read and don't participate in mean a lot to me for background information.

Thanks everyone and I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving with family and friends.  May God bless you all and God bless the USA!

I am humbled reading the posts in this forum. It is so gratifying to learn how this forum has helped so many of you enjoy this wonderful hobby.

We try to keep things running smoothly and keep the spammers at bay, but in the end it is YOU FOLKS who make this forum what it is...the absolute BEST place on the internet to talk about O Gauge Railroading.

Thank you all, very, very much.

Monon Jim hit it right on the head.  Thank you Rich, Allan, Ed and all the others at OGR, thanks to all the members especially those that always seems to be there to share their expertise and experience and those special members who are also part of the industry like Mike Regan and Walter Matuch who seem to be regular contributors here on the Forum.
